When planning a trip to Disneyland Paris, many people instinctively jump to booking flights without giving Eurostar much thought. It’s often simply because they don’t know enough about it or assume it will be pricier. As a travel advisor who’s focused on creating unforgettable Disney holidays, I make it my mission to help clients think outside the box and consider the options that might be hidden gems – even if they’re not the first thing that comes to mind.

Here’s why the Eurostar is a fantastic option for getting to Disneyland Paris – and why you may want to rethink automatically booking that flight!

1. Streamlined Journey with Minimal Hassle

Flying seems quick on paper, but when you factor in arriving at the airport two hours early, waiting in security, and collecting luggage on the other side, you’ll find there’s not a huge time-saving over Eurostar. With Eurostar, you simply arrive at London St Pancras, clear passport control before you even board, and can be relaxing onboard within about 90 minutes of check-in.

Eurostar also offers two convenient routes:

Direct to Paris Gare du Nord – With frequent options, this route takes you right into Paris, where you can quickly grab an RER train or private transfer to Disneyland Paris.

Lille Transfer to Marne-la-Vallée – This route allows you to change at Lille and arrive right at the Disneyland Paris station. Only one transfer, and you’re right at the park gates.

2. Added Comfort and Convenience

Eurostar doesn’t just streamline the process – it’s comfortable too! Spacious seats, a more generous luggage policy, and onboard Wi-Fi make the journey a pleasant part of your holiday. The luggage policy, in particular, is a bonus. You can bring larger bags with no liquids restrictions, and you don’t face extra fees for additional bags or to pre-select seats. For families and anyone who likes a stress-free start to their trip, Eurostar has a lot to offer.

3. Better Value – Without the Hidden Costs

A lot of people assume Eurostar is more expensive, but this is a myth! Booking Eurostar in advance often works out cheaper than flying, especially when you factor in the costs that airlines add on. With flights, the “cheap” fare can quickly increase with added fees for luggage and seat selection. With Eurostar, your fare includes your seat, generous luggage, and you can get on with planning your holiday.

4. Think About the Whole Experience, Not Just the Cost

At the end of the day, I’m here to make sure you’re not just getting a holiday but a fantastic experience from start to finish. My clients come to me because they know I think of these details. Whether it’s recommending the Eurostar for ease or advising on peak times and hidden fees, I’m here to look beyond just the “best price” and help you choose the option that fits your family and holiday style.

While I may not always be the lowest-cost option, I work hard to make sure I’m offering the best experience and value. If you’re interested in trying the Eurostar or just want to see if there’s a way to make your travel easier, let’s chat. It’s about your journey being as magical as the destination itself – and that’s where my expertise comes in!
