I’m Leanne, the founder of Dreams Come True Journeys, and for the past two years I’ve been helping families across the UK plan unforgettable holidays.

I first set up my business in 2023 after realising just how much knowledge and experience I had when it came to planning Disney trips – and how much difference that knowledge could make for others. Disney holidays are a big investment, and my aim has always been simple: to make sure you have a smoother, better, and more magical experience with me than you would have had without me.

While I specialise in Disney holidays – from Walt Disney World in Florida to Disneyland Paris and magical adventures at sea with Disney Cruise Line – my support doesn’t stop there. When you book a hotel and park ticket package - whether it’s through an agent like me, or directly with Disney - your tickets are bundled for every day of your stay, plus your arrival and departure day.

So, if you book three nights, you’ll actually get four full days of park tickets.

When you’re sailing, your ship may move into different time zones depending on your itinerary.

⏰ Always check your Stateroom TV to see what time your ship is running on each day.
📱 If your phone doesn’t auto-update (especially if you’re not using data), don’t rely on it.
📢 Look out for announcements or reminders onboard about time changes — Disney will always let you know in advance so you can adjust.

This is especially important for things like room service orders, dining times, and excursions so you don’t miss out!

🚢 Early booking = best stateroom choices (great if you want midship for less movement!)

🍴 Secure your preferred dining time (can be important if 8:15pm dining is too late for your family).

💰 Want the cheapest room category? These sell out first!

👀 Last-minute deals? They do sometimes pop up, but usually:
• You won’t get to pick your room.
• Only late 8:15 dining is likely left.
• They’re getting rarer, especially on UK sailings.

Who else is a big fan of a Disney buffet breakfast? Here are a few snaps from one of ours at Hotel Santa Fe in Disneyland Paris. If you’ve ever been, you might recognise that giant truck full of tasty treats! 😍

When we visit DLP as a family, we don’t usually do a buffet breakfast every morning (if you’ve ever had a DLP quote from me you’ll know why). But we always like to treat ourselves to one buffet breakfast during the trip - usually on our last morning, when we can take it a bit slower before heading home.

Did you know Walt Disney World resorts have laundry facilities on-site? 🧺💫

I highly recommend doing a quick wash during your stay – it means you can pack less, re-wear your favourite outfits, and best of all… you won’t come home to a mountain of washing. You’ll thank me later! 🙌

💡 Where to find them:
Laundry rooms are usually located near the resort’s pools.

🧼 What you’ll need:
You can buy detergent and fabric softener right there by the machines.

✨ Top tip: Pop a few laundry pods (or better still laundry sheets!) or travel-size detergent packs in your case before you go – super handy!

✨ Disneyland Paris might sometimes get a bit of a bad rep – especially when people try to compare it to Walt Disney World… but honestly, they are two completely different experiences and shouldn’t be compared!

I absolutely love DLP for what it is – a beautiful park in its own right and so much more manageable. It’s perfect if you’ve never done Disney before, or if you just need a quick little Disney fix without the full-on Florida planning mission.

That said… a little bit of planning absolutely still goes a long way.

Things like:
• understanding how virtual queues work (and what you actually need them for),
• deciding whether it’s worth buying Premier Access,
• knowing if you need to pay for shows,
• and choosing between onsite vs offsite hotels

…can make a huge difference to how much you spend and how magical your time in the parks feels 💫

✨ Rand Fest 2025 – you were amazing! ✨

We just went for the Sunday this year (it’s a full weekend festival) and wow… what a day! 🎶 Tribute acts to Chappell Roan, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo & Oasis had us singing along all afternoon, plus silent Discos, loads of entertainment inbetween and all the usual Rand Farm Park fun – foam parties, play areas & more 🫧🐑

We’ve loved Rand Farm Park for years and these festivals just get bigger & better every time. We’ve been every year (expect last year because we were on a Disney Cruise!) If you’re local to Lincoln (or fancy heading this way for a long weekend), time your visit for Rand Fest weekend – you can even camp on-site! ⛺

At Harmony Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom, boys and girls of all ages can have their hair cut – and yes, even adults can enjoy a trim here for an affordable price and a truly memorable experience. You can even have a magical First Haircut here, complete with a keepsake Mickey ear hat ✨.

Haircuts are quick and fuss-free – no hair washing stations, just a gentle brush, a spritz of water if needed, and of course, a sprinkle of pixie dust.

Reservations are strongly recommended, but you can always try your luck with a walk-in – a few spots are kept aside each day.

Disney is very strict when it comes to resort parking. If you’re driving, you must have a valid dining reservation at that resort to be allowed to park there – even if you’re just popping in for a quick look around.

Thinking of parking up at the Polynesian to catch the fireworks from the beach?
Without a reservation – no parking allowed.

💡 Instead, use Disney’s brilliant transport! Hop on the Monorail, a bus, boat or skyliner to get to the resort you want to visit and still enjoy the magic!

🧇 Churro Mickey Waffles – The Breakfast of Dreams 🐭✨

Okay, we need to talk about the CHURRO Mickey waffles – because these little beauties are not your average Disney breakfast. Think: all the goodness of a classic Mickey waffle, but coated in that cinnamon-sugar churro magic… crispy, sweet, fluffy and totally addictive. 😍

I first had one on a Disney Cruise, and let me tell you… it was love at first bite. I’ve been thinking about them ever since. Sadly, they’re not out every day on the buffet (you’ve got to be lucky!) – but when they do appear, it’s a BREAKFAST EVENT. I may or may not have done a happy dance.

🗺️ Where to find the churro Mickey waffles:
✨ Disney Cruise Line – occasionally available on select days at the buffet (they’re a surprise treat, not a daily item!)
✨ Crystal Palace, Magic Kingdom – sometimes spotted at breakfast here too (keep an eye out! 👀)

The classic Mickey waffles (still delicious!) are available across most Disney parks and resort hotels around the world – but the churro ones? Those are next-level. Rarer. Special. Superior. The ultimate waffle glow-up.

Pushchairs on Transport! 🚍

If you’re bringing a pushchair to Walt Disney World, here’s something super important to know…

➡️ You’ll need to fold your pushchair when boarding Disney buses.
This isn’t just a Disney rule – it’s to help fit more passengers onboard and to comply with local bus laws.
(Unless your pushchair is for medical purposes, folding is required.)

🧃 So don’t overload it
🎒 Keep bags easy to grab
🧢 And try to be ready to fold quickly when the bus pulls up!

✨ Top tip:
Lots of families with little ones choose to stay at a Skyliner or Monorail resort — because guess what? You don’t have to fold your pushchair on those!
That means direct access to some parks with way less faff 🙌
